Team Challenge Show Number 2014
The National Team Challenge is an inter-club competition held in July each year. It is held over a day with a series of dance, free and artistic classes and culminates in the show number. Each club enters up to 8 classes plus the show number (which is compulsory). The teams then collect points for their positions in the events and the club with the most points at the end of the day is the overall winner.
NTC Competition Information 2014:
This year the NTC will be held at Lee Valley on Sun 6th July.
In order to take part in the show number skaters must hold a minimum of NISA Level 1 field moves and have *completed the sign up sheet by 1st April*. Each team is allowed to field 30 skaters in their show number, so in the event of the sign up being oversubscribed a team of 30 will be selected. This selection is non-negotiable.
To be considered for the show number skaters will need to be able to commit to attending all the on-ice rehearsals and the NTC competition day (dates are listed below), if you are away during the off-ice rehearsals during the holidays please let us know at sign up but be aware you can still sign up. Failure to attend rehearsals will lead to you being asked to leave the show number. If you are ill or competing in an Open competition on a rehearsal date please inform either the coach or via the email below as early as possible.
Finally there is a £10 charge for participation in the show number. This fee is payable at the first rehearsal. We will take a coach to Lee Valley on the day, if you wish to travel by coach there may be a further nominal charge.

Skaters attending any competition that clashed with rehearsals should let the coaches know why they cannot attend but this is an acceptable reason from missing rehearsals.
