Bracknell Ice Skating Club Email Newsflash - July 2015

A huge ‘thank you’ all our skaters who represented the club  in the National Team Challenge on Sunday and congratulations on their well earned 4th place overall!  It was a great competition with lots of friendly rivalry and for the 9 clubs taking part it was a brilliant opportunity for those passionate about ice skating to get together to have some fun.  We very much thank the members of the NTC organising committee who have been responsible for this competition for more years than they care to remember and still remain very involved in the sport.

The club very much appreciates the support from committee members, parents and coaches to enable the club to participate in the NTC and would like to thank Mark Barber, Jo Boland, Laura Hetebrij, Sue Smith, Andy and Lizz Nelhams, Kirsty Wray and Amanda O’Neill for their invaluable hard work with organisation, co-ordination, costumes, props, make up etc – it certainly was a team effort!  Also many thanks to our show number coaches Stacey and Natasha for their creativity, organisation and assistance on the day with the skating team.

Special mention and thanks go to the Isle of Wight Skating Club who were kind enough (and trusting enough!) to allow us the use of some of their costumes for the show number.
