Bracknell Ice Skating Club Email Newsflash - November 2015
Congratulations to Emily-Lucine Phillips (12) & Jayin Panesar (12)
In August 2015 Emily-Lucine & Jayin competed in Sheffield where, having doubled
their previous season’s best score, they won the silver medal. Consequently they
became ranked as the #2 couple in their category in GB. As a result of the
huge improvement in their performance/marks they were asked to represent NISA
and Great Britain in their 1st full ISU international ice-dance event
in Dortmund, Germany. They are the
first ever ‘home grown’ couple from Bracknell Ice Rink to compete at this
prestigious level and finished 9th out of 14 couples from all over
Europe. Once again they scored personal bests on all 3 sections. This was
a great result for their first trip abroad!
They are one of the youngest couples to represent Great Britain in Ice-Dance and
are looking forward to the challenge of competing in the 2015 British Ice-Dance
Championships in December. We wish them Good Luck!
