DRESS REHEARSAL & FINAL
RUN THROUGH, SUNDAY 4th DECEMBER 3.15pm-6ish
Please note the following
important Information for Sunday’s run through.
PLEASE ARRIVE PROMPTLY
AND BE READY TO SKATE AT 3.15pm
Well done to everyone
for last week’s run through, you all did very well despite the extremely cold
conditions. Most costumes looked excellent – however there were still a
few people who were not following the costume requirements – remember if you
fail to comply with the costume, hair and makeup requirements (which will be
checked by chaperones before EVERY show) then we may not allow you to enter the
ice as it looks unprofessional. Attached are the costume requirements – please
make sure you follow these guidelines. Remember only flesh coloured underwear,
no straps on show etc. A quick request - could DRAGONS please purchase black
woollen gloves to complete their costume – could CHRISTENING GUESTS accessorise
costumes more with gloves, fascinators etc. THE UPDATED COSTUME REQUIREMENTS
WITH HAIR AND MAKE UP DIRECTION IS ATTACHED AND ON THE WEBSITE.
This Sunday we will be
running through in this order:
ACT 1
ACT 2
THEN FINALE
FINALLY WE WILL ASK ANY
UNDER REHEARSED GROUPS TO DO THEIR ROUTINES - you will be informed
of this on the day.
Try to arrive at
the rink by 3pm latest, you will all be seated on the benches on the AV side of
the rink in your groups and with your chaperones – parents are NOT permitted to
sit with their children. The changing room on the AV side of the rink will be
open to permit changing.
Blade guards
should be worn when not on the ice. You should have your phone
switched off so you can be aware of any ice cues. You will be at the rink for
several hours so please bring a snack, drink (but also remember to protect your
costume from spillages!). Bring something warm to wrap yourself in when not on
the ice.
This Sunday you
will be entering the ice from the Olympia bay (which is the entry we use during
the shows) – this will require you to wait for your cue – given by the Director
and walk with your chaperone around the bottom of the rink –café side to
enter and leave the ice. YOU MAY NOT ENTER OR LEAVE THE ICE FROM THE AV SIDE AS
SCENERY WILL BE MOVED ON AND OFF FROM THIS ENTRANCE.
This week we
will be running through with all scenery and props. If you have a prop then you
will need to collect this from the prop table located by the Olympia bay
entrance (unless you have been instructed otherwise).
The make up team
would like some of the cast to make up to practice on them this week (located
off boot room) – so please review the instructions below to see if this applies
